A well-organised day
1. Explore the Windows demo
Download the installer from the dedicated page. Open it on your PC and follow the displayed instructions. The software is for Windows; the website can be viewed on a smartphone.
When the software offers a sample database, use it to explore features. Otherwise, start with a few fictional contacts. This keeps experiments separate from your working customer database.
2. Define the information you actually need
List the information you look for before an interaction: name, company, telephone, context and next step. Adapt records with details specific to your business. Fewer unnecessary fields make everyday entry easier.
Prepare a few groups or categories. A simple shared structure is better than detailed classifications nobody maintains.
3. Test a complete cycle
- Find a contact record by name.
- Add a useful relationship note.
- Prepare a task with a due date.
- Review the calendar and history.
See whether this organisation fits your normal work. The aim is better follow-up with minimal friction, not filling in records for their own sake.
4. Prepare backups and licensing
Before entering real information, choose the database location and prepare a backup routine. Test restoration in a suitable environment. If you work as a team, check sharing on the local network.
Solo suits one person on one PC. Network covers up to five PCs. Both editions are perpetual licences to the purchased version; activation details will be specified when sales open.
