Pick up a conversation with the right context
A customer calls back after several weeks. What did they need? What still had to be checked? Prospective’s history and notes let you keep the memory of that relationship alongside the contact record.
Record the useful details: a need, a decision, a constraint or a next step. A few factual lines are more useful than a long report that is difficult to review.
Turn an intention into the next action
“Get back in touch” is an intention. “Call on Tuesday to confirm the appointment” is an actionable task. In Prospective, tasks and follow-ups give a home to actions you want to find at the right moment.
- An action expressed with a concrete verb.
- A clearly identified contact.
- A due date that fits the situation.
Stay on track through a busy week
Tasks, reminders, projects and notes help organise daily follow-up. Return to a record, review the relevant details and decide what comes next without searching several files.
Set aside a short, regular time to review actions. Mark completed tasks and adjust those that have changed. A tool remains useful when its information reflects the actual work.
Human follow-up, at your own pace
Prospective focuses on organising contacts and next actions. The new offering does not include email or SMS sending. Follow-ups here mean tasks and reminders that you then carry out using your usual tools.
You choose when to act and how to maintain each relationship. The software keeps the memory and guidance you need, on your computer or local network.
